STROLLER SYSTEMS
With a newborn, you'll likely use an infant carseat (or bassinet) that snaps into a basic stroller frame. As baby grows closer to toddlerhood, you will transition to a toddler stroller seat or full-size stroller somewhere around 9 months or when baby can sit up. Strollers are an entirely personal decision! Make sure you do your research prior to purchasing. If you're a runner, you probably prefer the BOB. If you live in the city, you'll likely want a light weight, easy to maneuver stroller. If you live in the suburbs, you can be more flexible with your selection.

INFANT CARSEATS
You will use your infant carseat until baby turns about one year old *tear* or meets the weight requirements to transition to a toddler carseat. Infant carseats can also snap into your stroller frame/base, so make sure that your infant carseat is compatible with your stroller base if that is important to you.

TODDLER CARSEATS
Baby will transition to a toddler carseat around one year of age or when he/she meets the required weight limit. Toddler carseats do have the ability of snapping in and out of a stroller base. Be sure to look for this, if important to you. These baby's are heavy, just a heads up.

BABY CARRIERS
Baby carriers are the best. C + I loved them more than baby wraps because of they offer stability and multi-purpose uses. Not to mention, hubs will gladly use a baby carrier rather than a wrap. Consider purchasing (or registering for) an infant insert for a newborn. There are several different types. Be sure to do your research and consider the features below.

TRAVEL CRIBS
Travel cribs are a necessity for those who travel AND those who do not travel. In addition to sleeping-on-the-go, baby can use the travel crib as a "play yard" up until about ten months of age. The Pack'n'Play offers features like the Newborn Napper that is great for infants. A travel crib can even be used as a substitute for a bassinet when baby needs to be close by in mom and dad's room for the first couple weeks of life.

BABY WRAPS
Honestly, C + I thought we would be baby carrying mamas, attached to our little ones with a cute, printed baby wrap. Eh, not so much. Baby wraps can be a pain in the you-know-what. Be sure and do your research before purchasing that beautiful, silk wrap that looks oh-so-cute because it may not carry baby the way you thought it would. Not to mention, you may not be able to figure out how to wrap the darn thing! Below are the brands we love that worked for us.

CAR ACCESSORIES
If you live outside of a major metropolitan city, you'll likely be transporting your baby via car. Truth be told, babies require A LOT of "stuff" and the car is no different. Help make your life (and baby's life) easier with these must-have car accessories. Not only will they help with safety and ease your mind, but baby will love them too.
